Introduction

 

We are seeking a Service Coordinator to join our Repairs & Field Services team. You will be responsible for end-to-end planning and coordination of repair jobs and orders, which involves preparing work packs, scheduling activities, and supporting proposals with repair scoping and cost estimations. Your role plays a crucial part in ensuring timely, high-quality repair execution and customer satisfaction, which will contribute to improved operational efficiency and profitability.

In this position, you will report to the Service Center Manager. 
This position is mainly located in Price George, British Columbia and is an on site position. 


Team you belong to

 

You will join a team of repair and field service specialists dedicated to delivering reliable repair solutions and exceptional customer support. We are currently working on repair execution projects, technical assessments, and cost estimation tasks.
We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as workshops, vendors, engineering support teams, and customers. Our team culture is all about collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. The members in our team are located in various regions across North America.


What you’ll do

 

•    Coordinate end-to-end repair and field service orders using Metso tools (RMS, FSM).
•    Prepare and issue work packs with scope, task lists, drawings, and technical details for workshops and vendors.
•    Collaborate with technical support and engineering teams to develop repair scopes and resolve technical queries.
•    Create cost estimates and detailed scopes for proposals.
•    Plan and schedule repair activities with internal teams and external vendors.
•    Review jobs prior to dispatch, ensuring all documentation, inspections, and reports are complete.
•    Prepare Manufacturer’s Data Records (MDRs) for each job.
•    Communicate regularly with customers, providing status updates and escalating issues promptly.


Who you are

 

•    Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as drawings, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports and customer interactions.
•    Proven experience in repairs coordination or related technical roles.
•    Skilled in planning, scheduling, and problem-solving.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
•    Customer-focused with strong liaison skills.
•    Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Metso systems (RMS, FSM) and repair engineering processes.
