Introduction and Team you will belong to:

 

The successful applicant will play a crucial part driving product sales in the Bulk & Port Solutions group and be a part of the broarder Metso sales team in APA. Through extensive product knowledge of Bulk Material Handling Equiptment and strong commercial acumen, the applicant shall clearly demonstrate the customer advantages of using Metso products, including performance benefits, commercial value, and overall solution advantages to our current and future customer base.  

 

The Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive sales funnel generation and orders for the relevant product offering
  • Responsible for the value argumentation, value proposition and win plan of the cases and overall, for the product offering
  • Possess extensive product knowledge and strong commercial acumen to clearly demonstrate the customer advantages of using Metso products, including performance benefits, commercial value, and overall solution advantages
  • Ensure that the sales team have adequate training and support to sell their products
  • Collects customer and competitor information as per BL/PG requirements
  • Provide Country/Region/market area level PG level business forecast together with the rest of sales teams
  • Understands the market, competition and the industry best practices for the defined technology and ensures that the sales case is built accordingly
  • Supports Warrant process, IB Validation, and inspection report reviews, recommendations, and solution definition.
  • Escalates and communicates issues & success to global business lines as required

 

 

The successful candidate will possess the following:

 

  • Experience must include at least five years of direct selling and/or service into the mining industry with Bulk Material Handling experience preferred
  • Experience with Car Dumpers and Apron Feeders highly regarded (Mechanical or Electrical)
  • Mechanical/Electrical engineering degree or trade highly regarded
  • Must have current motor vehicle license and passport
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time by motor vehicle and commercial flights
  • CRM exposure in Salesforce will be highly regarded
  • Intermediate understanding of accounting procedures including profit and loss, budgets and gross margins
  • Intermediate level of computer literacy in MS Office – Word, Excel and Powerpoint
