We are now looking for a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our Project Management team and support the execution of engineered to order (ETO) mineral processing equipment, with a particular focus on selected bulk material handling equipment. This role is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a global industrial environment and contribute to the delivery of high quality solutions to customers around the world.
Your Impact
You will work closely with senior project leaders to coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, and commissioning activities for custom-designed process equipment such as Car-dumpers, Grinding Mills, Apron feeders and associated plant systems. You will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle while playing an important supporting role in successful contract execution. Working alongside senior project leaders, you will help ensure safe, on time, and on budget delivery while maintaining the high standards Metso is known for.
Key Responsibilities

Support planning, scheduling, and execution activities across diverse ETO projects.

Coordinate cross functional deliverables with engineering, supply chain, quality, logistics, and site teams.

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, progress updates, risk registers, and cost tracking.

Monitor supplier and manufacturing progress to ensure technical and contractual compliance.

Assist with customer communication, meeting coordination, actions tracking, and reporting.

Support project controls activities including progress measurement and forecasting.

Contribute to safe and sustainable project execution in line with Metso’s HSE requirements.

Participate in inspections, FATs, and site activities when required.

Qualifications & Skills

Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Process, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Project Management.

0–3 years of experience in engineering or project coordination (graduates welcome).

Interest in mineral processing or engineered to order equipment is a strong advantage.

Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

Familiarity with SAP, MS Project and similar tools is beneficial.

Willingness to travel domestically or internationally.
