Introduction

We are seeking an Technical Assistant Manager to join our Grinding System team. You will be responsible for basic Engineering for grinding system with module design grinding system to GRC from solution group. Your role plays a crucial part in contributing to our business.
In this position, you will report to the Grinding System Engineering Manager.
This position is mainly located in Nova Lima/MG and it involves up to 10% of travel.

What you’ll do

The candidate shall meet the following responsibility but is not limited.

• Leadership and team management for the ongoing projects and R&D development
• Communicate within the company as well as external on study and project work
• Good problem solving and keen to explore new ideas
• Good listening skills to identify the root cause
• Focus on delivery of committed outcome in Basic Engineering, Detail Engineering
• Provide sales support for daily tender activities, including reviewing technical documents and assisting in negotiating the most favorable outcomes for Metso.
• Able to perform 3D modelling in CADs software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Plant 3D and Solidwork.

Who you are

• Familiar with Metso business and preferably grinding system
• Skills in plant layout and process plant within Grinding System
• Knowledge in preparing Piping and Instrumentation Diagram
• Able to compile technical documents such as specifications, datasheets, procedures, schedules and engineering estimation
• Innovative mindset to develop new solutions that aligns with the key business strategies.
• Conveyor and material handling experience is highly regarded.
• Degree in mechanical or mechatronic engineering.
• Fluent English.
• Advanced Spanish will be a plus.
• Professional experience in mining systems, working with plant layout for grinding systems.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling tools - Autocad, Inventor, Solidworks and Plant 3D.
• Work in Nova Lima-MG.
