Introduction
We are seeking an Quotation Intern for Pumps and Cyclones to join our team. You will be responsible for selecting and pricing equipment and supporting the sales team both technically and commercially. Your role plays a crucial part in enabling sales success and delivering tailored solutions to our customers. In this position, you will report to the Regional Sales Manager.
This position is mainly located in Montreal, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
Team you belong to:
You will join a team of technical experts dedicated to supporting sales and customer success. We are currently working on optimizing equipment selection and pricing strategies for pumps and cyclones.
We collaborate closely with regional sales teams and product specialists. Our team culture is centered around collaboration, continuous learning, and customer focus. Team members are located across various regions.
What you’ll do:
- Analyze engineering specifications to select the most suitable equipment (pumps and cyclones).
- Learn and use our pump software and cyclone tools.
- Provide technical support to the regional sales organization and assist in developing solutions to sales opportunities in line with Business Line principles and strategy.
- Accompany the regional Sales Team in client visits, audits, and discussions to understand the ‘customer challenge’.
- Develop strategies to optimize the development of complex commercial offers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of opportunity for data-driven decision making.
Who you are:
- Must be a current student pursuing a degree in engineering (chemical, process, metallurgical, or mechanical preferred).
- Must speak English. Other languages like French and Spanish are an asset.
- Knowledge of centrifugal pumps is an asset.
- Familiarity and interest in mineral processing will be an advantage.
