Introduction
As the Lead Customer Logistics Optimization, you will direct and manage logistics optimization, combining strategic oversight with hands-on operational tasks. You are vital for improving data-driven decision-making within the Order & Logistics (OLO) team by supporting automation, analytics, and data accuracy. You will spearhead continuous improvement, focusing on process automation and other key initiatives. Collaborating with stakeholders from wider organizations, you will enhance operational efficiency, optimize resources, and achieve business objectives. In this position, you will report to the Director, Logistics Operations North & Central America (NCA).
This position is located in our office in Montreal, Canada.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Order & Logistics (OLO) process optimization, leading the implementation of logistics process improvements in close collaboration with the regional OLO team.
- Collaborate with functional teams and Global Logistics Operation (GLO) Management to ensure the seamless integration of logistics strategies across all operational areas.
- Develop, support, implement, and oversee continuous improvement projects that deliver tangible results in operational efficiency and resource optimization, with a strong emphasis on digital transformation and process automation.
- Lead regional continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and ensure the consistent attainment of strategic goals.
- Work collaboratively with the OLO Leadership team and other key teams to design and implement strategic enhancements in logistics and operational processes.
- Provide access to transparent, accurate, timely, and complete logistics and operational information.
- Develop executive reports and detailed analyses to support strategic decision-making in logistics, leveraging advanced Power BI tools to provide crucial visibility and facilitate informed choices.
- Drive the transformation of raw data into meaningful and actionable insights, actively contributing to effective problem-solving across various teams.
- Simplify complex operational environments through effective data visualization and reporting, enabling clearer understanding and decision-making for operational teams.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Intelligence, or a related field
- Proven experience in logistics optimization, supply chain management, and a strong background in data analytics/Business Intelligence
- Demonstrated experience in leading projects and managing cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain and logistics processes
- Exceptional proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools, with advanced expertise in Power BI
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions based on data
- Proven project management capabilities, including the ability to develop, implement, and oversee complex initiatives
- A strategic mindset coupled with a strong focus on operational execution and tangible results
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains
