We are seeking a Field Service Coordinator to join our Services team. You will be responsible for handling the day-to-day administrative functions of the field services provided by Metso. The primary focus is on the seamless progression of Field Service from quotation to billing utilizing the key tools of Field Service including Field Service Management Tool and SAP. Your role is the key to Field Service operations and is responsible for Field Service Technicians ability to perform their work. The position is responsible for specific Service Tools including the Field Service Management Tool used to create Work Orders and manage the Technicians' on-site activities. In this position, you will report to Manager, Field Service Coordination.
This position is mainly located in Montreal, QC but, we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. This position may involve up to 5% of travel.
What you’ll do
- Responsible for the safe and profitable execution of field service contracts and orders
- Creates service quotations/ proposals based on agreed scope of work with client
- Enter inquiries, quotations, sales orders, service orders, and projects within the SAP Business System
- Coordinate internal and external service purchase orders
- Final cost collection, and invoicing
- Assist in Accounts receivable management with follow up to key stakeholders
- Review and analyze service job margins
- Ensure Site compliance requirements for technicians is fully approved to client systems prior to being onsite
- Responsible for coordinating manpower, equipment, and supplies needed for service jobs
- Work directly with the Managers and clients to execute work timely and on budget
- Coordinate and support the day-to-day operations of assigned Field Service personnel as required
- Facilitate all Travel logistics as required (flights and accommodation)
- Assist in Cross border visa application as required
- General customer contact and phone support for Field service personnel
- Support development of field service processes and procedures
- Responsible for the FSM (Field Service Management) tool
- Responsible for scheduling employees on projects and time off as necessary
Who you are
- At least five (5) years' applicable industry and product experience.
- A proven track record of professional accomplishments and reliability.
- Experience in complex matrix organizations/relationships, management and supervision experience preferred.
- Previous experience fast-paced dynamic organization.
- Financial skills related to Field Service.
- College level degree in either Finance/Administration or Engineering.
- Strong relationship building skills, a bias for action and detail-oriented behaviors are required.
- Must have good knowledge of the broad range of Metso equipment such as crushers, mills, pyro, bulk handling, screens, process equipment, pumps, etc.
- Solid knowledge base in services and aftermarket business, the mining and construction industry and its customers.
- Strong customer service / customer satisfaction capabilities.
