Introduction
We are looking for an Application Specialist – Crushing & Screening Solutions to join our Capital & After Market Sales – Crushing & Screening team. In this role, you will provide technical expertise to support capital equipment sales opportunities across Canada, ensuring optimal crushing and screening equipment selection and delivering value-added customer solutions. You will contribute to business growth by supporting sales teams, advancing customer productivity, and maximizing lifecycle value. You will report to the Derrick Washburn, Director - Crushing & Screening.
This role is based in Canada, with remote working options available.
This role contains approx. 50% travel

You will join a team of 6 professionals focused on crushing and screening equipment solutions for capital and aftermarket sales opportunities. Our team plays a key role in supporting profitable business growth through technical expertise, equipment optimization, and customer-focused solution development, with a shared focus on delivering best-in-class crushing and screening solutions. We collaborate closely with customers, sales teams, engineering, product management, supply chain teams, and business line experts. Our team is based across Canada, and our ways of working emphasize collaboration, customer focus, continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.
What you'll do
- Provide technical expertise to support crushing and screening capital equipment sales opportunities across Canada.
- Support both spot sales opportunities and large-scale customer projects through technical recommendations and solution development.
- Collaborate with Crushing & Screening business line teams to configure equipment solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities to upsell advanced solutions and complementary equipment that enhance customer productivity and lifecycle value.
- Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to build trusted relationships and demonstrate technical expertise.
- Work closely with engineering, product management, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate and timely solution delivery.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to support strategic sales initiatives.
- Assist sales teams with proposal development, equipment selection, and customer-focused technical support.
What you'll bring
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of crushing and screening equipment, applications, and processes.
- Ability to evaluate customer requirements and recommend effective technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support a variety of sales opportunities simultaneously.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering value-added solutions.
- Experience supporting capital equipment sales within aggregates, mining, or related industries (nice to have).

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000 - $150,000 per annum. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on skills, experience, and role-related qualifications.
