We are seeking a Tool Room Coordinator to join our Tool Room Support team. You will be responsible for shipping/receiving area for both Field Service and Repairs, maintain Tool Room (and assets), receiving duties (unloading trucks), material handling duties (identifying parts that come in for jobs, marking them with the job number and staging them in the appropriate area), light maintenance on tooling and facilities, housekeeping of area, and administrative activities to support the Mesa operation.

 

In this position, you will report to one of the Field Service Managers in Mesa, Arizona.

 

This position is mainly located in Mesa, AZ.

 

What you’ll do

•    Create purchase requisitions, source materials, and purchases materials for various projects
•    Communicate with vendors to arrange rentals, and ordering of specialty parts
•    Organize project specific tooling and load for projects

•    Maintain accurate record of Field Service fleet. Coordinate annual DOT inspections
•    Arrange for the repair of equipment Beyond Operation, for example impacts, jacks, rigging etc.
•    Maintain and track tools being signed out to various projects. Coordinate annual calibrations
•    Shipping / Receiving duties within the SAP system.
•    Material handling duties
•    Light facilities maintenance and janitorial activities
•    Use a forklift to load or unload trucks (up to 6000lbs)
•    Use a 65-ton capacity overhead crane and rigging rated to 65 tons, 35-40,000 lb. Capacity forklift.
•    Performs other miscellaneous duties and/or other special projects as required.


Who you are

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in industry and product.  

  • A proven track record of professional accomplishments and reliability.  

  • Experience in complex matrix organizations/relationships, management experience preferred.  

  • Knowledgeable in DOT regulations and requirement is preferred

  • High sense of urgency and the ability to develop action plans and meet deadlines.  

  • Strong sense of business ownership demonstrated through effective communication and leadership.  

  • Willingness to actively engage in problem solving opportunities.  

  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.  

  • Capable of effectively and accurately working on several projects at one time, organizing and prioritizing tasks, and working in a fast-paced environment.  

  • Ability to build and manage internal relationships, carry out negotiations and understand customer needs and market requirements.  

  • Position requires use of keyboards, telephones, cell phones, copiers, and telefax.  

  • Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license.  

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time.
