Introduction
We are seeking a Technical Sales Support – Grinding to join our Sales & Product Support team. You will be responsible for supporting and leading sales efforts for defined technologies within a specific geographical region, ensuring value-driven solutions and customer satisfaction. Your role plays a crucial part in enabling profitable growth and delivering technical expertise, which will positively impact our business performance. In this position, you will report to the Senior Manager, Sales Support USA Services.
This position is mainly located in Mesa, Arizona, and we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements. Please note that this role involves up to 75% travel, including international assignments.

You will join a team of technical and commercial experts dedicated to supporting sales and delivering customer-centric solutions. We are currently working on product deployment, sales training, and value argumentation strategies.
We collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Account Managers, Tier 2 Technical Sales Support, and Business Line teams.
Our team culture is built on collaboration, continuous learning, and customer success. Team members are located across North and Central America.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the product expert for defined technologies in the market area.
- Support and/or lead sales efforts in the assigned region.
- Ensure Account Managers receive adequate training and support.
- Collect customer and competitor insights per Business Line/PG requirements.
- Provide regional business forecasts in collaboration with the sales team.
- Support sales funnel generation and ensure accurate quotation data.
- Drive value co-creation and develop compelling value propositions.
- Ensure timely progression of sales cases and profitability.
- Maintain compliance with sales processes and risk management procedures.
- Support warranty processes, inspection reviews, and solution definition.
- Escalate technical issues to Tier 2 Technical Sales Support.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mining/construction-related sales or technical roles.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD and SAP preferred.
- Highly motivated and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative team player with a performance-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable working in multicultural and multilingual environments.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office required; SAP preferred).
- Good understanding of Metso equipment and applications.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel internationally.
- Must be authorized to work in North and Central America.
