We are seeking a Repair Center Project Coordinator to join our Repair Center (REP) team. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the REP Center, ensuring seamless progression of REP projects from quotation to billing. This involves working extensively with Salesforce and SAP to manage service orders and project data. Your role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate financial tracking and operational efficiency, which will positively impact customer satisfaction and profitability. In this position, you will report to the Repair Center Manager.
This position is mainly located in Mesa, AZ, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
Team You Belong To
You will join a team of repair service and project coordination experts who are passionate about delivering high-quality service solutions and driving operational excellence. We are currently working on repair service contracts, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
We work closely with internal stakeholders such as project managers, finance teams, and supply chain, and external partners including vendors and logistics providers. Our team culture is all about collaboration, continuous learning, and proactive problem-solving. The members in our team are located in various Metso facilities across North America.
What You’ll Do
- Assign and balance daily tasks among REP Center Coordinators.
- Implement and facilitate cross-training and specialized development plans.
- Manage repair service contracts for profitable execution.
- Generate and analyze repair service reports and KPIs.
- Conduct post-mortem project analysis to improve quoting accuracy and compliance.
- Enter and manage purchase orders and requisitions in SAP.
- Load cost estimates and consumables into SAP for each order.
- Analyze monthly project results including net sales, cost, and margin.
- Ensure timely ordering of parts and escalate delays.
- Participate in weekly project management reviews.
- Train project teams on financial procedures and SAP usage.
- Coordinate freight movements to and from repair facilities.
Who You Are
- College degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience.
- Strong SAP ERP experience (prior use is an asset).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Understanding of project accounting and compliance policies.
- Strategic thinker with technical aptitude.
- Effective communicator with a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and promote change.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); able to write technical descriptions.
- Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Nice to have: Experience in repair service operations or manufacturing environments.
