Introduction:


We are seeking a Sales and Customer Support Specialist to join our Sales and Services Team. You will be responsible for assisting site account managers in delivering current and new sales opportunities, contact to customer delivering time sensitive information in accordance with Metso processes, tools, and policies, while utilizing solid customer and sales support practices. Your role plays a crucial part in working closely with customer contacts, site account managers, customer service team and other internal departments as a liaison for customer support. In addition you will support collaborative planning efforts for key accounts. In this position, you will report to Tina Edmonds, Services Inside Sales & Contract Manager.


The position is mainly located in Mesa, Arizona but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. However, it involves up to 30% travel within Mesa, Arizona.
 

Team you belong to

You will join a team of Sales and Customer Support Specialists responsible for stakeholder communication and relationship management (customers, suppliers, internal units).


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Planning & Coordination: Complete FCX-Metso LineOfSight2.0 planning and coordination meetings across FCX site planners/buyers, the Metso Freeport Team Leader, and MO quote & order management services.
  • Provide Continuous Improvement: Oversee lessons learned, identify improvement opportunities, and provide valuable feedback to stakeholders.
  • Engage with Customers: Participate in customer meetings and site visits to build positive relationships and understand their needs.
  • Special Projects:Take on special projects based on business needs, showcasing your versatility and problem-solving skills.
  • Support Warranty Processes:Collaborate with the customer service team to support warranty process RCA and resolution.
  • Maintain Installed Base:Ensure timely updates in Installed Base for accurate information management.
  • Sales Support:Provide technical and cost input for sales cases and proposals.
  • Safety First:Adhere to Metso Safety standards and complete necessary training for customer site visits.


Who You Are:

  • Experienced Professional:You have 3+ years of experience in customer relationship management.
  • Tech-Savvy:Working knowledge of SAP and CRM systems is desirable.
  • Effective Communicator:You excel in dealing with customers, vendors, and colleagues, with great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Client Management Expert:You possess enhanced client management and business literacy skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills:Positive interpersonal and negotiation skills are your skills.
  • Professional: You can control multiple conflicting priorities in a complex environment.
  • Global Perspective:You understand domestic and international matters to meet global needs.
  • Flexible & Proactive:You are flexible and available to interact with customers as required, taking initiative to anticipate their needs and make recommendations.
