Introduction

 

We are seeking a Quality Manager, Services Operations to join our Repairs & Service Operations team. You will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of the Quality Management System (QMS) for U.S. repair facilities, while also overseeing project delivery activities ranging from product exchange contracts to repair and field service events. This involves ensuring compliance with ISO‑9001 standards, driving continuous improvement, and managing project performance across safety, quality, schedule, and budget. Your role plays a crucial part in elevating service center performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and enabling operational excellence. In this position, you will report to the Director, Services Operations.

This position is primarily based in Mesa, Arizona, and requires travel of approximately 30% to support repair centers, customers, and vendors.

You will join a team of quality, repair, and service experts who are passionate about delivering safe, compliant, and high‑quality service execution across our regional repair facilities. We are currently developing a formal Quality Management System, driving ISO‑9001 readiness, and executing customer delivery and repair projects across the U.S. and North America.
We work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, such as Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Product Lines, Customers, and 3rd‑party vendors. Our team culture is rooted in safety, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Team members are located across multiple U.S. and global sites.


What you’ll do

 

  • Establish, implement, and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) for U.S. repair facilities, advancing the team toward ISO‑9001 compliance and certification.
  • Create, enforce, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and policies for the repair business.
  • Lead the Mesa quality team and oversee quality performance at 3rd‑party vendors.
  • Analyze quality data and reports to evaluate performance and drive improvements related to non‑conformance and cost of quality.
  • Manage QMS activities, internal audits, document control, and compliance requirements.
  • Train and support employees on quality procedures, processes, and expectations.
  • Manage and lead product exchange, delivery, repair, and field service projects to ensure safe, high‑quality, on‑time, and on‑budget execution.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Product Lines to optimize design, costs, and project outcomes.
  • Oversee customer and stakeholder communication, including project updates, issue resolution, and contract obligations.
  • Support proposal teams with customer inquiries, technical needs, and requirements.
  • Prepare and submit project billings to maintain positive cash flow.
  • Attend relevant industry conferences to maintain expertise and support business development.


Who you are

 

  • Four‑year degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • ISO‑9001 QMS certification and certified ISO Lead Auditor.
  • Ten (10) years of applicable industry or product experience.
  • Proven managerial experience leading teams.
  • Demonstrated success in Quality Management, including audits, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Product Development, Sales Strategies, and/or Project Management (5 years preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and strategic planning abilities with experience using performance metrics.
  • Current or past AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain/maintain a valid passport.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience in heavy industrial, mining, or repair center environments.
