Introduction

 

 


We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our Repair Center Quality Team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of repaired equipment and components through inspections, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement activities. You will play a key role in supporting operational excellence, product quality, and ISO 9001 quality initiatives. You will report to the Quality Manager, Services Operations. 

 

 

 

This role is based in Mesa, Arizona.

This position may involve up to 10% of travel to customer sites and training locations.

You will join the Repair Center Quality Team, a group focused on ensuring repaired equipment and components meet quality standards, customer requirements, and safety expectations. The team plays a critical role in maintaining quality compliance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and advancing ISO 9001 quality objectives. We collaborate closely with repair technicians, operations personnel, customers, and quality stakeholders to deliver reliable repair solutions and maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction. 

 

 

 

 

What you'll do

 

 

 

 

  • Conduct thorough inspections of repaired equipment and components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify dimensions, performance, and functionality.
  • Identify, document, and communicate defects, discrepancies, and non-conformities while working with repair technicians to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Support ISO 9001 quality initiatives by assisting in the development of quality control plans, procedures, and documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality control processes, procedures, and overall operational performance.
  • Provide training and guidance to repair technicians on quality control requirements and best practices. 

 

 

 

 

What you'll bring

 

 

 

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in Quality Control or a related field.
  • Experience working as a Quality Control Inspector within the mining, heavy industrial, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of quality control principles, practices, methodologies, and inspection processes.
  • Proficiency using precision measuring instruments, testing equipment, and inspection tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and documentation capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Ability to obtain NDT certification within 60 days of employment.
