Introduction

 

 


We are looking for a Services HPGR Specialist to join our Services Team. In this role, you will provide technical mechanical and process evaluations, advisory services, project execution support, and supervisory expertise for the installation, repair, maintenance, and optimization of High-Pressure Grinding Rolls (HPGRs). You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver safe, high-quality service solutions while supporting operational efficiency and equipment reliability. You will report to the Field Service Manager / Senior Service Operations Project Manager, Javier Curiel.

 


This role is based in Mesa, AZ with hybrid working options available.

 


This role includes approximately 80-85% of domestic and international travel to customer sites for equipment evaluations, project execution, technical support, training, and customer meetings.

You will join a team of technical service professionals focused on supporting HPGR equipment and related mining and heavy industrial applications. Our team plays a key role in ensuring customer success through equipment reliability, maintenance excellence, and project execution, with a shared focus on delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
We collaborate closely with customers, service personnel, engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, sales teams, and other internal stakeholders. What you'll do

 

 

 

  • Provide technical mechanical and process evaluations, advisory services, and supervisory support for HPGR installations, repairs, rebuilds, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
  • Lead project execution activities including planning, scheduling, stakeholder communication, resource coordination, budget tracking, and project closeout.
  • Own end-to-end execution and delivery of HPGR service projects while ensuring achievement of safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
  • Deliver technical training to customer personnel and field service teams on proper OEM maintenance, repair, and operating practices.
  • Develop project scopes, estimates, customer proposals, schedules, and technical work plans for maintenance, repair, and upgrade activities.
  • Coordinate with customers, contractors, suppliers, engineering teams, and internal service organizations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical support and recommendations regarding equipment operation, maintenance practices, spare parts, wear components, and process optimization.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, support team development activities, and contribute to service business growth opportunities.

 

 


What you'll bring

 

 

 

 

  • Product expertise in High Pressure Grinding Rolls (HPGRs).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in mining, mineral processing, heavy equipment, field service, project execution, or a related industry.
  • Strong project execution and customer-facing experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to make independent decisions regarding project execution, resource allocation, and technical solutions within established frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport.
  • Fluent English language skills.

 

 

 

Nice to have:

 

 

 

  • Experience executing projects within mining or other heavy equipment industries.
  • Project Management certification or related professional qualification.
  • SAP experience and fluency.
  • Salesforce experience.
  • Knowledge of Metso capital equipment products.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of commercial and contractual terms and conditions.
