Introduction
We are seeking a Field Service Tool Room Coordinator to join our Services team. You will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving area for both Field Service and Repairs, maintaining tool room organization, and supporting material handling and light maintenance activities. This role involves coordinating logistics, equipment upkeep, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Your role plays a crucial part in supporting field and repair operations, which will contribute to improved efficiency, safety, and service delivery.
In this position, you will report to the Mesa Operations Manager.
This position is mainly located in Mesa, Arizona, but may involve travel of up to 20%, including deliveries or pickups up to 5 hours one way using a company vehicle.
Team You Belong To
You will join a team of technical service professionals and operations coordinators who are passionate about delivering reliable support to field and repair teams. We strive to maintain operational excellence and ensure that tooling and logistics are handled with precision and care.
We work closely with internal stakeholders such as Field Service Technicians, Repair Coordinators, and Procurement Specialists, as well as external vendors and freight providers. Our team culture is all about collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. The members in our team are located in various service hubs across North America.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate shipping and receiving functions using SAP, including third-party freight and freight logs.
- Organize and maintain the tool room, including tooling, consumables, PPE, chemicals, and job boxes.
- Communicate with vendors to arrange rentals and order specialty parts.
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift; stage materials and mark them with job numbers.
- Track tools signed out to projects and coordinate annual calibrations.
- Arrange repairs for equipment such as impact wrenches, hydraulic jacks, and power tools.
- Create purchase requisitions, source materials, and manage purchases for various projects.
- Perform light facilities maintenance and janitorial tasks.
Who You Are
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You bring experience in heavy industrial, construction, or mining environments (product knowledge is a plus).
- You are highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- You have a strong sense of urgency and ownership, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- You are proficient in SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Dynamics.
- You hold a valid driver’s license and are comfortable with travel and physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs).
- You are familiar with DOT regulations and inspections (nice-to-have).
- You are a motivated problem-solver who communicates effectively and builds strong internal relationships.
