Technology Specialist - Testing

Metso USA Inc. is looking for a Technology Specialist – Testing to mobilize/demobilize and operate dewatering test work equipment accordingly to Metso procedures and standards. Position is based in Manchester, PA. 

Required: Bachelor’s or degree from an accredited college, university, advanced diploma, or technologist diploma in Mining/Metallurgical, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering and 5 years of experience in laboratory testing.  In addition, the following specific skills are required:  

•    5 years of experience with pressure and vacuum filtration testing, including pilot-scale trials, cycle tuning, and cross-functional collaboration to support safe, efficient, and data-driven filtration solutions across pressure and vacuum filtration technologies; 
•    5 years of experience with thickener testing, including pilot-scale trials, underflow density and overflow clarity optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to support safe, efficient, and data-driven filtration solutions across thickener technologies; 
•    3 years of experience with testing equipment troubleshooting and providing collaborative support for engineering, operations, and safety teams to ensure reliable and high-performance outcomes using testing equipment;
•    3 years of experience in auxiliary testing and lab safety, including TSS and pH analysis, Hygiene Procedures and protocol adherence within testing and laboratory environments; and, 
•    Frequent domestic and international travel may be required at times; up to 75%
