Our Product Commercial Support team is looking for a self-driven Senior Manager, Product Commercial Support, Filters, with a focus in Europe. This role will work closely with market area teams to grow the Filters service business in the Metso Central region. In this position, you will report to Director, Product Commercial Support, Central Region. 
We offer a challenging and rewarding Tier 2 sales management role focusing on industry-leading products, process solutions, and service offerings. You would be part of a truly global team, having the opportunity to work with colleagues from several countries. Working in the global business line Product Commercial Support team, you would be a business line expert working with local sales teams to build campaigns, develop a sales funnel, and prioritize opportunities and sales activities. You’ll have a local and global technical expert network supporting you with the most challenging technical solutions.

Please note that the position requires up to 50% travel to customer sites.
 
What you’ll do

  • Support and lead service sales for Filters. 
  • Act as the main contact from sales towards Service Product Management and take frontline feedback to the product management/development and delivery.
  • Take responsibility for the value argumentation, value proposition, and win plan of the cases and overall for the technology.
  • Understand the market, competition, and the industry best practices and ensure the sales case is built accordingly.
  • Coach and train market area service sales teams (offering and ways to sell) and constantly seek best practices with the company.
  • Ensure compliance with the cases' sales process, proposal, and risk management procedures.
  • Constantly seek new ways to sell and develop alternative business models.

 
Who you are

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in engineering or minerals processing preferred
  • Solid Filters market and industry understanding and experience (ideally 7+ years)
  • Solid sales and service business understanding and experience.
  • You are customer-focused and passionate about meeting their needs
  • You build relationships and gain rapport with internal and external stakeholders with ease
  • You understand Profit and Loss and can engineer deals commercially.
  • You have technical knowledge of the offerings to be able to add value to opportunities and coach internal and external stakeholders.
  • You always find better ways to do things and remove roadblocks from getting orders.
