What you 'll do:
Lead the end‑to‑end execution of several million‑euros contracts for stationary aggregates or mineral crushing and screening plants within the Systems business, part of the Plant Solutions organization (Aggregates Metso Product Business Area). Ensure full customer satisfaction, operational and HSE excellence, and strong financial performance throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Customer & Contract Management
- Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the contract execution phase.
- Conduct detailed contract handovers with the pre‑sales Project Manager and identify risks or deviations.
- Organize and lead internal and customer Kick‑Off Meetings (KOM), with support from MA/DMO when required.
- Negotiate contract amendments with the customer, following internal alignment and management approval.
- Maintain proactive and transparent communication with all stakeholders.
Project Leadership & Cross‑Functional Coordination
- Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary project team (engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, documentation, field services, etc.).
- Ensure that all project activities comply with Metso Must, internal policies, and HSE/quality procedures.
- Provide clear direction to the team, explain decisions, and ensure alignment on technical, purchasing, manufacturing, and site‑related choices.
Performance, Schedule & Execution
- Guarantee adherence to project requirements in terms of schedule, quality, and cost.
- Monitor project progress, anticipate deviations, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Lead regular project reviews (technical, financial, logistics) and provide continuous, real‑time feedback.
Financial Management
- Track and control project costs, revenues, cash flow, and invoicing status.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial, schedule, or quality performance and propose solutions to management.
Reporting & Risk Management
- Report project status to management at least monthly during formal project reviews.
- Escalate issues when necessary and propose corrective action plans.
- Ensure rigorous risk identification, mitigation, and follow‑up.
Travel
- Perform regular visits to customer sites as required by project execution.
Who You Are
You hold a suitable academic background, ideally a Master’s degree, and bring 8+ years of experience managing complex industrial projects involving engineering, equipment delivery, and on‑site assembly. Experience delivering EPC projects in mining, quarries, cement plants, or other heavy industries is a strong advantage.
You have a solid understanding of aggregates or mining processing technologies and are comfortable operating in a technical, industrial environment.
You are capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to make sound decisions independently.
You are proficient with Schedule tools(MS Project, …) and open to learning and adopting new project management tools.
You communicate fluently in English and French, both spoken and written; any additional one is an asset.
You demonstrate strong influencing skills, a forward‑thinking mindset, and a clear drive for achieving results.
You work collaboratively and have experience engaging with international and virtual teams composed of individuals from diverse cultures and locations.
