Team Leader, Purchasing

Introduction
We are seeking a Team Leader, Purchasing to join and lead the purchasing team as well as manage and ensure the correct attention of all goods and services requirements of the professional services teams as well as those of the company's indirect goods and services family for the attention of production and/or repair orders, customer sales orders, stock replenishment orders and administrative purchases during the readjustment of the area.
What you’ll do
• Lead the purchasing team, supervise the conversion of Purchase Requisition into
• Purchase Orders, approval and assurance of shipment to suppliers (local and/or intercompany).
• Supervise the correct execution of the local supplier approval process as well as the performance evaluation of strategic suppliers (local and/or intercompany).
• Follow up on orders relevant to the company, obtain confirmation of delivery date and delivery of goods from local suppliers.
• Perform purchase requisition, purchasing and supplier backlog reporting.
• Receive and lead the local alignment of global initiatives from the indirect purchasing team.
• Ensure compliance with Purchasing team performance indicators, especially the savings indicator which has global reportability and must be presented in global monthly reports.
• Develop new strategic suppliers according to the business plan of the professional services team in Peru and Northern countries.
Who you are
• A professional graduated in Engineering, Administration or related fields.
• Minimum of 7 years of work experience in purchasing areas.
• Minimum of 5 years leading a group of work.
• You must know about supply chain management.
• You have to manage SAP at a buyer level.
• You must be fluent in English. (desired)
• You must know about purchasing for mining area.
