Role Purpose:

 

The Supply Chain Specialist plays a critical role in enabling the Pumps Business Line to meet its 2026–2030 strategic ambitions. The position strengthens supply chain performance by reducing delivery lead times, improving global supply lane efficiency, and ensuring readiness for both strategic projects and daytoday business. 

The role works closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Market Areas, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the supply chain remains a competitive advantage for Pumps BL. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

1. Supply Lane Optimization & Delivery Performance 

  • Analyze and optimize end-to-end supply lanes across key manufacturing and sourcing regions  

  • Explore and implement direct shipment opportunities where beneficial. 

  • Identify logistics, capacity, customs, or supplier-related bottlenecks and define improvement actions. 

  • Drive databased insights and actions that support Operations achieving best in class OTD performance and ensuring stable, predictable lead times. 

  • Contribute to S&OP development to enhance forecast accuracy and alignment with Market Areas. 

2. Project Supply Planning 

  • Create and maintain supply plans for strategic and CAPEX projects. 

  • Balance capacity, supplier constraints, and project priorities to secure on-time execution. 

  • Track projects supply KPIs and escalate risks proactively. 

3. Market Area Collaboration 

  • Work closely with Market Area operations and logistics teams to understand regional challenges and support capability-building. 

  • Ensure alignment between regional supply capabilities and global BL strategy, especially in highpriority MAs. 

  • Support fastlane processes for Day-to-Day business, ensuring short lead times for wear parts and highconsumption items. 

4. On-Time Delivery & Lead-Time Analytics 

  • Monitor BL delivery performance for equipment, spares, and trial conversions (MD & Cyclone trials). 

  • Analyze OTD gaps and recommend improvement actions with Operations and Product Groups. 

  • Support PQP and SPDB lead-time accuracy by validating data and identifying inconsistencies. 

5. VIP Lane, Trials & Replacement Pipeline Execution 

  • Support execution of the VIP lane for trial and replacement deliveries (MD / HC products). 

  • Track trial progress from a supply perspective, identify risks early, and coordinate priority handling with Ops and MAs. 

  • Improve time-to-revenue by ensuring strong supply readiness for approved trials. 

6. PMO Supply Chain Coordinator  

  • Act as PMO coordinator for Supply Chain initiatives within Pumps BL, ensuring structured governance and alignment across strategic projects. 

  • Coordinate crossfunctional project activities, ensuring clear milestones, owners, timelines, and risk management within the Supply Chain Development portfolio. 

  • Support prioritization and resource alignment for supplyrelated initiatives 

  • Consolidate project updates, prepare steering materials, and maintain transparent status tracking to support effective decisionmaking fo 

  • Ensure adherence to PMO frameworks and contribute to developing improved ways of working for project execution within Supply Chain Development. 

7. Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement 

  • Support Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement initiatives within Supply Chain Development. 

  • Contribute to supply chain dashboards, reporting, and analytics (OTD, inventory health, lead times, S&OP metrics). 

 

To be successful, you must meet the following requirements: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field. 

  • 3–6 years of experience in supply chain, operations planning, logistics, or similar roles (preferably in heavy industry, minerals, or capital equipment). 

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets. 

  • Experience with ERP/SAP, planning systems, Power BI, Excel, and logistics analytics. 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a global, cross-functional environment. 

  • Demonstrated experience improving operational KPIs (OTD, lead time, inventory). 

  • Strong English proficiency, both written and verbal is required for global communication.

  • Knowledge of pumps, cyclones, spare parts, or engineered equipment. 

  • Exposure to S&OP frameworks and supply chain footprint development.
