Introduction
We are seeking a Manager, Sales to join our Minerals Processing Sales team. You will be responsible for Front End Sales on selected accounts or Strategic Projects executing the yearly sales plan, offering full Metso Minerals Processing Capital Equipment Portfolio (Crushing, Grinding,Flotation, Filtration, Automation). You wil join a sales team that covers Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia and Guyanas, Surinam, within the sales team you will have in addition the technology management rol to develop the Automation Portfolio of Minerals Processing (Analyzers, Digital Solutions). Your role involves generating new business opportunities and managing existing customer relationships. You will play a crucial part in driving sales growth, ensuring exceptional customer service, and strengthening our market presence.

You will join a Sales team of technical sales professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality solutions to customers in the mining sector for brownfields and greenfields project.
We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as business lines/Technology Centers , and Services Sales Team, ensuring seamless communication and effective sales execution. Our team culture is all about collaboration, customer-centricity, and technical excellence.
What you’ll do
- Execute the yearly sales plan, identifying new business opportunities and maximizing sales within the assigned territory and product portfolio assigned.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers at all organizational levels.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries regarding pricing, delivery, product details, and technical information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement customer-specific sales strategies.
- Maintain a strong company image by demonstrating professionalism, in-depth product knowledge, and an understanding of customer needs.
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring a smooth flow of communication.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Travel extensively for client meetings, industry events, and on-site sales activities.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Process Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
- Must have more than 10 years of experience in a similar industry and position.
- Good knowledge of Mineral Processing is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Willingness and ability to intensive travel domestically and internationally.
- Knowledge of sales business transactions, including contract terms.
