Introduction

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and focused Product Specialist, Tailings Filtration to join our team in the product group Filtration in Beneficiation, Dewatering & Hydrometallurgy (BDH) Business Line in the Services Business Area! In this position, you will manage the product data and analysis over the whole product lifecycle. Together with the Product Manager, the Product Specialist will prepare and manage the product materials for Larox FFP, Metso VPA, FP, FFPS and TPS filters. This position reports to the Product Director, Tailings Filtration, located in Lappeenranta.

 

This role offers a great opportunity for someone looking to launch their career and/or build their expertise in product management and filtration technologies within a supportive team environment.

 

The preferred location for this position is in the main filtration locations in Lappeenranta (Finland), Sala (Sweden), Suzhou (China). Other locations can be considered for the right candidate. 

 

Team you belong to 

 

You will join a team of dedicated Product Management professionals who are passionate about supporting the business with different, creative solutions. You will get a chance to work with Product Managers for the improvement and business development of the Product competitiveness, within Product marketing, documentation, pricing and sales tools. Together as a team, we work closely with different stakeholders, such as Sales and Sales Support teams. Our team culture is all about getting things done - together. 


What you do

 
•    Develop and maintain product marketing materials, technical definitions, and sales tools
•    Support product ideation, definition, and roadmap planning with the Product Manager
•    Ensure accurate product data across platforms (e.g., Enovia, Wiki, Viva Engage)
•    Manage spare part recommendations and lifecycle cost tools (e.g., TCO calculators)
•    Deliver product training to internal teams and stakeholders
•    Conduct profitability and pricing analysis to support strategic decisions
•    Maintain pricing rules and tools; analyze market and sales trends
•    Create sales support content (e.g., success stories) and contribute to business case development
•    Provide product advisory to sales teams and customers, offering technical and commercial guidance
•    Share customer insights and product feedback with internal teams to drive improvements

 
Who you are

 
•    You have a degree in Engineering or Business (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
•    You’ve worked in B2B environments, ideally with some product management experience
•    You’re curious about data, good at analyzing and using it to support decisions
•    You can manage multiple tasks and make decisions even when priorities compete
•    You communicate clearly with different teams and levels in the organization
•    You understand how good product data helps improve customer service and profitability
•    You’re familiar with tools like PDM, SAP, Enovia, and marketing platforms
•    You enjoy solving problems with others
•    Experience with mining or industrial filtration products is a plus
