Introduction 

 

We are seeking a Global Training Specialist, Filtration to join our Global Training Delivery team. You will be responsible for efficiently delivering Technical Trainings for all Metso team members, distributors and customers for Filtration. Also responsible for technical support to Design & Development. In this position, you will report to the Assistant Manager, of Global Training. 

 

This position can be in Finland, United States, or Canada. However, it involves up to 50% of travel to customer training facilities in different global locations.

You will join a team of training experts who are focused on empowering participants and organizations through knowledge-sharing and skill development, aiming to deliver effective training programs that encourage growth, innovation, and measurable success.  

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Build Partnerships: Collaborate with BA/MA professionals to enhance technical skills and knowledge-sharing.Support Development: Assist market areas and contribute to content and curriculum creation with the Learning Design & Development team.
  • Deliver Engaging Training: Conduct interactive, globally focused instructor-led sessions and webinars, using real-world scenarios for internal teams, distributors, and customers.
  • Plan and Organize: Schedule and coordinate trainings with the Head of Technical Training and market area support.
  • Stay Current: Keep your technical knowledge sharp through workshops, seminars, and the latest industry insights.
  • Enhance Effectiveness: Support certification programs as an assessor and analyze feedback to ensure training effectiveness.
  • Mentor and Grow: Train and mentor internal trainers through the Train the Trainer program.
  • Ensure Compliance: Align all training deliveries with organizational policies and standards.
  • Innovate and Manage Risks: Test new training methods, identify risks, and develop contingency plans.
  • Maintain Resources: Oversee the upkeep of training tools and facilities, and source subject matter experts as needed.  

 

 

Who you are:

 

  • Extensive technical knowledge of mining filtration equipment.
  • Training experience or background in related role.
  • Solid customer technical support experience.
  • Knowledge in maintenance and resolving issues.
  • Willing to teach and share knowledge with others.
