Join our Equipment Engineering team in Lappeenranta and help shape innovative engineering solutions as an EIA Engineer.

Lappeenranta site is the main location and competence center for Metso Filtration business line and for example Filtration Services, with approximately 200 employees. Lappeenranta location has also manufacturing facilities for filter products. Besides mineral and metal processing industry the Metso  filters are also used for energy, chemical process industries, and water treatment processes.

 

 


What you’ll do

 

  • Perform the detail design in equipment delivery projects
  • Ensure designs comply with Customer requirements and location-specific codes, standards, and legislation
  • Provide technical support for Product Management, Sourcing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Service
  • Be accountable for the technical quality and on-time delivery of design work
  • Grow to be an expert in the Filtration technology area
     

 

 

Who you are

 

 

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrification or automation
  • From 1 to 5 years of experience in EIA engineering
  • Know-how on PLC/iPC-controlled systems
  • Know-how on EIA engineering- and product data management tools
  • Knowledge of Machinery Safety and corresponding international regulations and standards
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team and work with others
  • Project-oriented working methods
  • Good spoken and written Finnish and English
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites and manufacturing workshops
