As Deputy Manager- Quality, you are:

• Responsible for managing Quality Control/Quality Assurance / Supplier assessment/ Supplier Audit as per requirement of stakeholders/Projects and subsequent processes / instructions / guidelines to be followed
• To access the supplier for job specific requirements considering their facilities at works, sub supplier support, control.
• Strong supplier monitoring skills – progress follow up in line with actual schedule / quality monitoring in line QAP/drawing / Spec/ Standard requirements.
• Should have good interpterion skill according to different code requirements like – IS/BS/ ASME etc.   
• Good knowledge about core manufacturing process, understanding the criticality of operation, necessary precaution to be taken to prevent / reduce final rejection/rework.
• Ability to conduct / review documents of Welding procedure and welder’s qualification test as per ASME / EN standard.
• Ability to prepare /review QAP/ITP/ NDT procedure in line with basic requirements in manufacturing process, TPS, project requirement.
• Must have ability for new product / supplier development (localization) according to Market Area requirement.  
• Capable to monitor all project quality requirements- coordination with client / client’s TPI . Monitoring TPI’s inspection activities , resolving issues with suppliers .
• To maintain all quality records as per QMS guideline.
• Monitor performance / KPI’s of the individual project 
• Reporting the Supplier performance.

In this position you should also:

• Prepare and send Reports of related project to stakeholders.
• Demonstrate cooperative team effort within work group à work effectively with other groups and departments, internal or external.
• Demonstrate respect for others and act in an appropriate and professional manner.
• Assess and prioritize work requirements; develop and execute plans in a timely manner and accepts advice and/or direction well. 
• Be able to perform travel, with short notice.
• Manage interaction with various cultures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Graduate / Diploma engineer (Mechanical)
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the field of Quality Control/Quality Assurance
• NDT skills – level -II qualified in UT, RT, MPT , LPT ( as per any standard )
• CSWIP /AWS level- II certified.
• Solid QA/QC process understanding
• Secure command of English. Any other additional language skills would be an advantage
• Self-motivated approach, ability to work independently and make decisions
• Good planning and organizing skills and drive for results
• Ability to work independently, but at the same time goal and success oriented
• Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines 
• Strong drive and performance orientation skills required
• Strong communication skills
• High sense of urgency
