Introduction
We are seeking a trades Assistant to join our Service team at our Kalgoorlie Pump Service Centre. You will be responsible for assisting the Facility and teams within carry out general duties to ensure all aspects of the Repairs / Field Service business run smoothly and service expectations are 
achieved.

In this position, you will report to the Operations Manager.

This new position is located in Kalgoorlie and would suit a local resident. 
 
Team you belong to
You will join an experienced and dedicated team of Service technicians who strive to ensure operations and workshop repairs are completed on time and to a high standard. Our team is motivated and keen to succeed.

What you’ll do
•    Assisting qualified trades persons to carry out allocated tasks
•    Conduct housekeeping inside the workshop and surrounding areas under guidance from Supervisor and Leading Hands 
•    Assist Storeman with unpacking / packing of goods. Audits of store inventory when required. Pick up and drop off parts from local suppliers.
•    Assist with construction of pallets and crates.
•    Help with general Field Service-related issues, Ie Pick up / drop off parts and equipment vital to job.
•    Adhering to correct behaviour, appearance and workplace practices are upheld as per Company standards.
•    Ensuring the correct Personal Protective Equipment is utilised, and taking responsibility for own health and safety and on the job performance.
•    Operate Forklift 
Who you are
•    Experience using hand tools
•    Forklift ticket
•    Ability to undertake repetitive work whilst maintaining high attention to detail.
•    Ability to communicate effectively with another employee.
•    Positive and proactive approach to safety
•    Excellent work presentation values
