We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager, Indirect Procurement to lead and develop indirect procurement activities across our Asia Pacific Area (APA), with a strong focus on Australia.
In this strategic role, you will drive procurement performance, deliver value through sourcing initiatives, and partner with stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment with global procurement standards and objectives. About the Role
As the Sourcing Manager, Indirect Procurement, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, driving cost optimisation initiatives, and ensuring procurement governance and compliance across the region. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, global category managers, and suppliers to deliver sustainable value and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing
- Translate business requirements and market insights into effective sourcing strategies and execution plans.
- Drive indirect procurement performance, including spend management, savings delivery, and achievement of procurement targets.
- Ensure early procurement engagement in business initiatives, proposals, and tender activities.
- Identify and deliver competitiveness improvements through total cost optimisation, demand management, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Business Partnership & Governance
- Act as a trusted procurement partner across APA, building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, sourcing governance, and approval frameworks.
- Support business areas, market areas, and functions in developing procurement maturity, including tender management, contractual coverage, and savings tracking.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers and strategic partners.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions to achieve optimal business outcomes.
- Drive supplier performance, innovation, and continuous value creation.
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Support the implementation and adoption of procurement tools, processes, and policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Source-to-Pay processes and procurement data quality.
- Promote best practice procurement across the region.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing and indirect procurement.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills within a complex, matrixed environment.
- Proven ability to lead change and deliver business improvement initiatives.
- Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and delivering sourcing outcomes.
- Strong analytical capability with proficiency in SAP, Excel, and procurement reporting tools.
- A process-oriented mindset with a focus on governance, compliance, and operational excellence.
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams and regions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
