INTRODUCTION:
This is a key strategic growth role within the business, and you will be the face of Metso in Southeast Asia, Japan, and South Korea. Working with the Metso globally, the successful candidate will be driven to ensure we win deals by providing value and excellent service. Together we will provide the best value solution to our customers. This role will be located in Jakarta or Manila.
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
- Profitable growth of the business and maximisation of the new equipment installed base for Metso.
- Managing the assigned customer base and maintaining key customer relationships at Capex investment project / Senior Plant Operations Management level.
- Sales funnel management and prioritisation of sales cases.
- Assemble bid teams, as well as generating and maintaining sales plans.
- Generating leads for Capex and Services business.
- Collaborating with the BL to ensure business development and growth is maximised.
- Supporting sales cases for other BLs, as required.
- Maintain current knowledge of competitor activities.
- Follow up on previously won cases to ensure there are no discernible issues and escalate concerns to the appropriate channels, as required.
- Providing input into the strategic direction, relevant to Metso capital product range.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Experience (circa 8+ years) working in the Mining industry
- Degree qualification preferred, ideally in Metallurgical or Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Customer-focused mindset and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies to win deals
- Ability to work effectively with others in an international, multi-cultural matrix organisation
- Ability to travel regularly across Asia Pacific region, as required
- A good understanding of Asian culture, norms a business etiquette
