Introduction

We are looking for a Supply Estimation Specialist to join our Global Quotation Support Team. You will be responsible for estimating supplier lead times and cost information when this data is not readily available, enabling accurate sales quotations and delivery commitments. This involves analyzing manufacturing drawings, evaluating manufacturing processes, assessing supply chain requirements, and making timely decisions to support quotation activities. Your role plays a crucial part in delivering accurate pricing and lead time estimates, which positively impacts customer satisfaction, quotation quality, and business competitiveness. In this position, you will report to the Manager, Global Quotation Support Estimation.

This position is mainly located in Irapuato México, Sorocaba Brazil, Vilnius Lithuania, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

Team you belong to

You will join a team of price and supply estimation specialists dedicated to providing accurate cost and lead time estimations that support customer quotation and orders. The team plays akey role in quotation support activities, supplier lead time estimation, cost analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives while ensuring alignment with global standards and KPI requirements.

We collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as the Product Managers, Engineering, Master Data, Tactical Sourcing, Parts Identification team, and other experts. The members in our team are located across multiple global locations, supporting a diverse and international business environment.

What you'll do

• Analyze and interpret manufacturing drawings to estimate supplier lead times and product costs when information is not readily available.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes, materials, and supply chain requirements to provide accurate quotation support.
• Collaborate with tactical sourcing, engineering and other stakeholders to resolve estimation requests.
• Calculate end customer pricing using estimated or actual costs, following pricing guidelines
• Develop and maintain lead-time and cost estimates that support accurate sales quotations and customer commitments.
• Review estimation accuracy and identify opportunities to improve quotation quality and efficiency.
• Support cross-functional initiatives, including technical support, price estimation, and process improvement activities.
• Monitor and follow up on quotation and estimation requests to ensure timely customer responses.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance, customer experience, and global quotation processes.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical environment.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and technical drawings.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess costs, lead times, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across global and cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Nice to have: Experience with Salesforce, Teamcenter, Jaggaer/Pool4Tool, mining industry products, spare parts, or quotation support processes.
