Senior Accountant, Credit to Cash

Introduction 

We are looking for a Senior Credit to Cash Accountant to join our Finance Mexico Team. In this role, you will  carrying out Finance activities within the Metso Finance team in Irapuato, Mexico. In this position, you will report to the Mexico Finance Head.This role is based in Irapuato, Gto.

You will join a team dedicated to providing solutions, recommendations and preventive actions that safeguard the safety of all Metso personnel. 

What you’ll do 

• Ensure Credit-to-Cash transactions are processed accurately and efficiently in line with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Manage collection and credit control activities for assigned business partners to achieve defined KPIs and collection targets.
• Monitor overdue balances, communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices, and support timely resolution of payment issues.
• Perform customer account reconciliations, period-end closing tasks, and other assigned AR activities accurately and on time.
• Support credit risk assessments and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain required information.
• Coordinate dispute resolution activities with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
• Review deliverables prepared by other team members and provide guidance and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in process improvement, harmonization, and change implementation initiatives to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Maintain process documentation and support onboarding and training activities for new team members.

What you’ll bring 

• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Management, or Collections processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset with ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Team-oriented mindset with experience working in a cross-cultural international environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP or other ERP system knowledge is considered an advantage.
