Introduction
We are looking for a Regional Accounting Manager for Mexico and Central America to join our Finance and Accounting Team. In this role, you will lead accounting, tax, and compliance activities across the region, ensuring accurate financial reporting and alignment with global standards. You will support business decision‑making by providing reliable financial information, managing audits, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies. You will report to the regional/corporate finance leadership.

This role is based in Irapuato, Mexico, with regional responsibility across Mexico and Central America (including Panama).

You will join a team of highly specialized accounting, tax, and finance professionals focused on delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions across the region. Our team plays a critical role in maintaining financial integrity, managing audits, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes while supporting business growth.

We collaborate closely with corporate finance functions, auditors, tax advisors, and operational business units, ensuring alignment between local requirements and global standards. Our ways of working emphasize strong analytical thinking, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, international environment. The members of our team are located across Mexico, Central America, and global finance hubs.


What you’ll do

  • Lead and oversee accounting and tax operations across Mexico and Central America.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Manage and coordinate external and internal audit processes.
  • Oversee the accurate use of ERP systems (SAP) and reporting tools.
  • Drive financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Identify and manage financial and tax risks, including transfer pricing and cash flow optimization.
  • Provide timely and relevant financial insights to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with corporate and local teams to align financial practices.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including leveraging AI and digital tools.


What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience in accounting and tax with international exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and regional tax regulations (Mexico and Panama).
  • Experience with SAP, Power BI, OneStream, or similar systems.
  • Proven leadership experience managing specialized teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience managing audits, compliance, and financial reporting processes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix, and international environment.
