Medical Nurse

Introduction
  We are seeking a Medical Nurse to join our Medical Mexico team. You will be responsible for carrying out Occupational Health activities within the Metso manufacturing plant in Irapuato, Mexico. In this position, you will report to the Senior Occupational MD.
 
This position is mainly located in Irapuato, Guanajauato MX.

You will join a team committed to providing solutions, recommendations and preventive actions that safeguard the safety of all Metso personnel.
 
What you’ll do:

 

As a Medical Nurse at Metso, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the health of our personnel by implementing key occupational health programs. Your responsibilities will include:

 

•    Occupational Health Programs: Assist with programs such as hearing and respiratory conservation, and communicate medical examination results and recommendations.
•    Emergency Response: Lead the First Aid Brigade in emergency situations and provide immediate medical care during and after office hours.
•    Health Evaluations & Promotion: Conduct ergonomic assessments and promote health through alcohol and anti-doping tests.
•    Daily Medical Care: Provide on-site medical support employees and manage medical inventories, including first aid kits and supplies.
•    Accident & Incident Management: Oversee health checks for high-risk jobs and provide prompt care to injured personnel. You will also play an effective role in initial accident or incident reporting.
•    Advanced Medical Treatments: Administer first aid, CPR, injections, oxygen, and other medical interventions when needed.

 

Who you are:

 

•    A Qualified Nurse with a degree in nursing, specialized in occupational health, and certifications in ACLS and BLS.
•    Experienced with at least 2 years in occupational health services.
•    A Skilled Paramedic with certifications in emergency medical services (EMT, ACLS, BLS, ATLS).
•    Committed to Safety and health promotion in the workplace, always working to create a safer and healthier environment for everyone..
