Introduction
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our Mexico team. You will contribute to strategic planning and deliver effective regional marketing programs. By collaborating with local and global teams, including sales, technical support, and the broader Metso marketing and communications network, you will oversee activities such as marketing campaigns, in-person events, digital promotions, and branding efforts, you will report to the Director Marketing.
This position is mainly located in Irapuato, Guanajuato (MX).

You will join a team of Marketing experts focused on providing solutions to all the stakeholders. This role is integral to Metso’s goal of increasing customer engagement in the minerals processing and mining industry
What you’ll do:
- Strategic Leadership & Budgeting: Be a key contributor to the development of annual marketing plans, strategic direction, and budget allocation for the region.
- Campaign Innovation: Design and implement creative campaigns to generate awareness and nurture leads, leveraging tools like digital advertising, social media, email marketing, and web content.
- Content Creation: Craft compelling regional success stories, case studies, and tailored content to highlight our influence and engage customers across global communication channels.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics to track campaign success, deliver actionable insights, and recommend improvements to optimize performance.
- Brand Stewardship: Ensure consistency in local branding efforts, acting as a steadfast ambassador of Metso’s global brand.
- Customer Loyalty Engagement: Partner with customer-facing teams to champion the Net Promoter Score (NPS) program and enhance customer loyalty through strategic engagement.
Who you are:
- Professional Skills: Mid-level experience in B2B (Business to Business) or industrial marketing and communications, especially within a technical or industrial environment.
- Strategic Thinking: A creative problem-solver with solid critical-thinking skills, capable of seeing the big picture while managing complex projects with multiple moving parts.
- Versatility: Comfortable working in a global matrix structure with remote teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Communication Skill: Advanced interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. And capable of communicating in english is a must have.
- Teamwork: You excel in cross-functional teamwork and have experience in working alongside sales teams, product managers, and technical experts to produce results.
- Strategic Thinker: You’re a creative problem solver who can manage complex projects while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
- Flexible & Global: You thrive in a matrix organization and are skilled at working with remote teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Skilled in technology applications: You’re proficient with marketing automation tools, CRM platforms (Salesforce), and are experienced in project and event management.
