Introduction
We are seeking a Manager, Logistics North & Central America (NCA) to join our consumables Logistics team. You will be responsible for overseeing logistics operations for mining consumables, ensuring reliable supply of screening media, wear liners, mill lining components, and related products. This involves leading logistics strategy, transportation, shipment visibility, and planning across multiple regions. Your role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost‑effective logistics operations, which will positively impact customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and business performance. In this position, you will report to the Logistics NCA Director.
This position is mainly located in Irapuato, México.

Team you belong to
You will join a team of logistics and supply chain professionals dedicated to delivering safe, reliable, and efficient logistics services that support mining customers and internal operations. We are currently working on strengthening shipment visibility and tracking processes, improving logistics KPIs, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and enhancing coordination with manufacturing plants, procurement, sales, and service teams.

We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as manufacturing plants, warehouse operations, procurement, sales, service teams, logistics providers, and customs/regulatory partners. Our team culture is all about safety, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence. The members of our team are located in multiple countries across the NCA region.


What you’ll do

  • Lead and develop logistics staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Manage logistics operations for mining consumables, ensuring reliable supply to warehouses, customer facilities, mine sites, and remote locations.
  • Oversee visibility and tracking processes for all shipments, including company‑arranged and customer‑arranged freight.
  • Implement logistics processes, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate closely with manufacturing plants, procurement, sales, and service teams to align logistics with production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Manage relationships with logistics providers and customs/regulatory partners.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and transportation regulations across all logistics operations.
  • Support other logistics‑related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.


Who you are

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
  • You bring logistics or supply chain leadership experience within mining, heavy industry, or industrial consumables.
  • Solid experience with inbound and outbound government requirements, including customs compliance, broker management, audit support, and product classification (HS codes / tariff classification), considered a valuable asset for this role.
  • Experienced in overseeing multi‑site warehouse or distribution operations.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and team development skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and familiar with logistics KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Knowledgeable in logistics for heavy, oversized, or high‑volume industrial components.
  • Experience navigating logistics challenges in remote delivery environments or multiple countries.
