Maintenance Leader

1. Title: Maintenance Leader / SVSBDP Filtration (Services / Beneficiation and Dewatering Products – Filtration)
2. Job Statemen: The maintenance leader is responsible for overseeing and developing all aspects of a facility’s maintenance and repair operations, ensuring the efficient and reliable functioning of the equipment, machinery, and facilities using lean manufacturing practices as a TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) at the same time support shop floor activities to ensure that maintenance technicians have all required tools to do their job safety and efficiently. This includes planning, coordinating subcontracting activities, as well as managing budgets, staff, and resources.
3. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department
- Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work
- Ensure operational efficiency of the equipment through timely inspection and repair
- Implement workplace safety policies and standards – Safety compliance.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures, including preventive maintenance programs – Planning and scheduling
- Manage the maintenance budget, including cost analysis, expense control OPEX and CAPEX, - Budget Management
- Hire, train and evaluate maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources.
- Identify and address maintenance issues, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and ensure timely repairs – Problem solving.
- Prepare reports on maintenance activities, costs, and performance, including budgets, progress, and time schedules – Reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments e.g., operations, engineering, quality, etc., to ensure smooth operations and efficient resource utilization – Coordination.
- Manage the inventory of the maintenance supplies, equipment, and parts – Inventory Management • Identify and implement improvements to optimize maintenance efficiency and reduce costs – Process Improvement
- Coordinate and manage responses to maintenance emergencies and breakdowns – Emergency response.
- Develop and comply with the Total Productive Maintenance
- Support in energy saving projects
- Implement maintenance process and procedures according with our Integrated Management System

- Vice President of the Services Business line.
- Project manager.
- HS&E
- Local Human Recourses.
- Contractor and consultants.

5. Travel Requirements:
No travel is required, it could be some domestic travel occasionally.
6. Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical/mechatronics Engineering, master’s degree in engineering/management a plus. Academic degree is not required but preferred. Can be replaced by solid work experience and a proven track record of running a maintenance process.
- Proven working experience in construction management, at least 7 – 10 years.
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process
- Knowledge of construction methods and technologies and ability to interpret technical drawing and contracts
7. Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, preferably speak English.
- A good level of computer skills in essential – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture.”
- Experience in planning maintenance operations.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment..
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Leadership and human resources management skills.
- Strong, co-operation, interpersonal skills to manage internal and external issues.
- Requires the ability to stand, walk, climb, or utilize a sense of balance, climbing of stairs, ladders, scaffolds may be required at customer facilities.
