We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Engineering, Contracts, Proposals, Services, freight forwarders, shipping carriers, and regulatory authorities. Our team culture is all about collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and ethical business practices. Team members are located across multiple regions and global locations, supporting a diverse, multinational operation.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate and execute domestic and international shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and on‑time delivery.
  • Prepare, review, and manage logistics documentation such as invoices, certificates of origin, NAFTA documentation, and shipper’s letters of instruction.
  • Support project teams by planning and implementing logistics solutions that align with project scope, timelines, and customer requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for freight‑related issues, including documentation discrepancies, tariff interpretation, VAT, and trade compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable transportation regulations (DOT, IATA, IMDG) and all import/export laws and company policies.
  • Negotiate freight rates and conditions with carriers and logistics service providers to optimize cost and service levels.
  • Monitor logistics costs, allocate expenses accurately, and identify savings and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Contracts, Proposals, and Services to ensure a shared understanding of logistics requirements.

Who you are

  • A logistics professional with 5–7 years of experience in domestic and/or international logistics within a complex, multi‑business environment.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • You bring strong knowledge of international trade, shipping regulations, export controls, and customs compliance.
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • A strong communicator with a customer‑service mindset, able to collaborate effectively across functions and cultures.
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to broader supply chain and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and logistics systems; SAP experience is a plus (nice‑to‑have).
  • Experience in construction, heavy equipment, or mining industries and familiarity with engineering drawings are considered an asset (nice‑to‑have).
