Introduction
We are seeking a Legal Intern to join our Market Area Sales and Service Mexico team. You will be responsible for the delivery of legal services to Metso legal entities as assigned by and under the direction and supervision of a Metso legal counsel or NAM head of legal, as generally described in the Job Duties and Responsibilities. In this position, you will report to the Director Legal MA NCA.
This position is mainly located in Irapuato, Guanajuato.

You will join a team of Legal experts dedicated to providing solutions.
We work closely with internal stakeholders, such as in the Market Area. Our team culture is all about providing the best solutions for the customer and internal stakeholders. The members in our team are in Mexico.
What you’ll do:
- Review and interpret all types of legal documents, including letters, contracts, lawsuits and claims.
- Prepare reports and presentations
- Draft contracts, letters, requests, and documents addressed to clients and internal staff
- Negotiate confidentiality agreements and small contracts
- Maintain excellent communication with customers and co-workers
- Investigate current regulations, jurisprudence, and doctrine to support the legal team in the preparation of contracts and litigation
- Coordinate and carry out corporate procedures before different entities
- File company documentation
- Carry out other related or complementary functions as determined by the Legal Director
Who you are:
• English advanced level
• Law student of last semesters
• Excellent communication and document management skills
• Good knowledge and excellent management of programs such as Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Ability to work on different projects at the same time and to prioritize
• Excellent ability to interact, communicate and cooperate with members of the legal team and other company team
