Introduction
We are seeking a HSE Intern to join our Mexico team. You will provide support to Mexico, Canada and Central America QEHS initiatives. In this position, you will report to the QEHS Training and & IMS Manager.
This position is mainly located in Irapuato, Guanajuato MX.
Team you belong to
You will join a team dedicated to providing solutions, recommendations and preventive actions that safeguard the safety of all Metso personnel.
What you’ll do:
• Assist in delivering e-learning and onboarding trainings using various digital platforms.
• Help design and develop local induction training programs for sites across Mexico, the USA, and Canada. • Support regulatory compliance initiatives at our facilities.
• Maintain and improve QEHS documentation, databases, and reports.
• Prepare impactful presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in various projects and initiatives led by the QEHS Manager and Director.
Who you are:
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); strong communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing multiple priorities. • Skilled in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Comfortable with digital learning and video editing tools (iSpring, Canva, Clipchamp, Adobe Premiere).
• Basic knowledge of instructional design and occupational safety standards.
• Eager to work in a dynamic and international team environment.
• Committed to learning and personal growth.
• A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
