Delivery Leader

Irapuato, GUA, MX

Introduction

 

We are seeking a Delivery Leader to join our Rubber Mexico team. You will be responsible to ensure high accuracy and completeness of information (tasks, man-hours, parts,materials,spareparts) in delivery plans, you will report to the General Manager, Rubber plate factory

 

This position is mainly located in Irapuato, Guanajauato MX.

You will join a team dedicated to providing solutions to our Delivery team and stakeholders.

 

What you’ll do:

Order & Production Planning

  • Manage customer orders received from Market Areas, ensuring alignment with Product lead times and customer requested delivery dates.
  • Execute production planning and shopfloor scheduling to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure timely order confirmation and delivery, while reducing lead times and improving customer satisfaction.

Capacity & Resource Management

  • Conduct capacity planning and ensure optimal utilization of resources (machines, manpower, consumables) within budgeted costs.
  • Make allocation decisions based on plant capacity and customer priorities.

Warehouse & Shipping Operations

  • Oversee warehouse operations to ensure inventory accuracy and alignment with planning and forecasting.
  • Ensure shipping readiness, including packaging according to global standards and coordination with logistics for dispatch.

SAP & Data Management

  • Proficient in SAP PP and WM modules; responsible for maintaining accurate master data (routing times, capacity, product data, inventory, etc.).
  • Drive SAP-based transparent, data-driven production planning processes.

Process Improvement & Standardization

  • Implement and sustain global standards and best practices in planning and logistics.
  • Continuously improve processes through LEAN methodologies and cost optimization strategies.
  • Lead change management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders through proactive and effective communication.
  • Work closely with global order management, regional COEs, procurement, and manufacturing units to improve planning and data quality.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop teams in order management, planning, warehouse, and shipping.
  • Coach and train team members to improve KPIs, process standardization, and SAP effectiveness.
  • Identify capability gaps and implement development plans to build a world-class planning function.

Other regular leadership & management tasks defined by Metso or Rubber & Poly-Met management

  • Participate in strategic and annual planning processes.
  • Support manufacturing unit management system development and execution.
  • Lead safety management initiatives.

Engage in performance reviews and HR processes as defined by the organization

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 12–15 years of experience in production planning, warehouse, and shipping operations.
  • Proven track record in process improvement, change management, and SAP utilization.
  • Advanced knowledge of LEAN principles and implementation.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make fast, data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
