Introduction to the Role

 

Reporting to the Senior Service Manager, West Region, this position is responsible for the coordination and performance of shutdown execution. The functionality of this position is keenly focused on safety, customer service, and customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support execution team with field maintenance
  • Ensure safe execution of in field activities through thoroughly planned scopes
  • Monitor schedule and then clearly communicate this with the planning team any issues with workload
  • Support technical enquiries of the equipment 
  • Ensure customer site policies are being adhered too
  • Collaborate with planning and coordination team resource requirement with specialised vendors.
  • Build detailed SOW and schedule.
  • Project manage large scale shutdowns including execution.
  • Support planners with complex proposals.
  • Collaborate with planners, resource logistics and execution activities
  • Collaboration with internal departments for customer needs
  • Manage specialised tooling requirements for upcoming projects
  • Promoting Field Service products and services to customers.
  • Promoting company Repair capabilities and obtain service repair work.
  • Promoting the sales of OEM spare parts and wears material components at all times.
  • Communicates and interacts with all levels of organization staff and management, internally and externally.
  • Ensure all direct reports adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and processes.

 

 About You

 

  • 5 years minimum experience in crusher/related industrial equipment technical support and service.
  • Associate’s degree in engineering or high school diploma with equivalent related experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Experience in troubleshooting technical-field-related problems.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment field service technician or mechanic.
  • Ability to effectively lead and supervise customer/user personnel under various working conditions and hours.
  • Ability to interact, on a technical level, with Field Sales, Training, Application & Technical Support groups as well as Parts, Support & Engineering groups.
  • Ability to maintain a steady and level attitude when pressured.
  • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Ability to solve problems and situations
  • Must be able to pass random medical and drug tests.
  • Must be physically fit.
  • Ability to travel within short notice.
  • Ability to work away from home, for extended periods and extended hours, on weekends or as required.
