JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL SALES SUPPORT ENGINEER – SCREEN MEDIA SOLUTIONS, MA AFRICA, BASED IN CENTURION, GAUTENG We are seeking a Technical Sales Support Engineer – Screen Media Solutions – MA Africa. The successful candidate will assure a high competence to give adequate specialist product and application support within Metso, and towards end users. Primary activities will include product support of the Screen Media portfolio, technical/field support, application and process support, warranty support, and price support.
The Technical Sales Support Engineer will participate with and assist the MA sales team to develop a jointly owned product sales strategy and action plans for the related products for the specific market area. In terms of the high service and support level, the Technical Sales Support Engineer will liaise with the supply operations, Global PL functions and the MA sales team. In addition, the Technical Sales Support Engineer will conduct product training programs both internal and external. The Technical Sales Support Engineer is considered an extension of the global PL Product Support role. The Technical Sales Support Engineer should also manage, plan and execute on-site installation supervision, as well as process and performance inspections.
In this position, you will report directly to the Head of Screening - TSS This position is mainly located in Centurion, Gauteng. TEAM YOU’LL BELONG TO You will join our Technical Sales Support team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Clients, Managers, Internal Staff, Suppliers and Customer Sales Relationships & Client Base.
