Introduction
We are seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our Americas Sourcing team. You will be responsible for supporting all Crushing and Screening (CNS) product lines to ensure we obtain best possible conditions for the material required. In this position, you will report to the Director, Fabrication and Assembly Operations.
This position can be located in York, PA, Brookfield, WI, Columbia, SC, or Mesa, AZ, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. This position can include up to 40% domestic and international travel.
What you’ll do
- Prepare request for quotations (RFQ) to send to suppliers in the Jaggaer system.
- Ensure to closely follow up supplier response to RFQ to meet targeted turnaround times.
- Based on screening, prioritize preferred suppliers, and ensure to understand supplier’s capacity and capabilities well.
- Make decisive decisions when selecting suppliers based on Price, Leadtime and other key factors.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the team when require.
- Maintain Purchase Info Record and Material Mater data in SAP.
- Sustainability audits at vendor sites in NCA
- The ability to travel (domestically &/or internationally) as required and the flexibility to work at various times of the day, due to working for a global multinational company.
Who you are
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in business administration or Engineering. (Preferable)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Supply chain or similar roles.
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following spend categories: Fabrication, Machining, Castings & Forgings, Hydraulics, Bearings, Electrical & Automation, Gearboxes, Plant Utilities.
- Knowledge using SAP, strong knowledge of Purchasing and Logistics in an MRP/ ERP environment
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Excellent customer service skills and independence (can freely call suppliers without close supervision).
- Organizational skills and can prioritize, work independently and must have ability to complete assigned tasks with a minimum of supervision.
- Attention to detail and can meet deadlines, multitask, and balance various assignments.
