The Opportunity
Production Supervisor will be responsible for Safety, Quality, Productivity for their shift, also resolves shift related issues and serves as a link between the shift’s production team and upper management.
The goal is to ensure that operations are carried out Safely and productively to ensure customer demands are fulfilled on time according to the production plan. To communicate organizational needs and oversee team’s performance to provide guidance and support for individual development needs.
Due to operational requirements this role is based at our Forrestfield facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop production and warehouse teams.
- Champion a strong safety culture and maintain 5S standards across the site.
- Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and KPIs are achieved.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate workflows, resources, and maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and support employee development.
- Manage inventory, warehouse operations, and accurate movement of goods.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality requirements, and legislative standards.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and workforce planning activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve operational performance.
To succeed
You will have the ability to plan, direct, and monitor all production activities within the process area to maximize the use of the organization’s resources and meet established production specifications and schedules; safety, quality, efficiency, cost and people.
You will bring:
- Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role
- Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines
- Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Basic level of MS Suite
- Forklift License
- Diploma/Certificate in First Line Management or relevant field
- Very good at empowering people to make people act
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management
- SAP Experience (desirable)
- Dogging and Rigging License (desirable)
