Introduction
We are currently seeking a Vice President, Mining Filtration to join our Filtration Business Line Organization.
In this role, you will lead our global Mining Filtration Product Group, encompassing all filtration solutions dedicated to the Concentrate and Tailings solutions. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the expansion of the Filtration Business Line and positively impacting Metso Minerals. This role involves both technical leadership in product management and commercial leadership in business development.
Reporting directly to the Head of Filtration, you will play an instrumental role in shaping our strategic direction while also serving as a key member of the Filtration Business Line management team.
The preferred base location for this position is Finland, although other locations may be considered. We offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. Please note that international travel will constitute approximately 40-50% of your annual working time.

You will join to a management team dedicated fully to Mining and Industrial Filtration solutions. We collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including end customers, Market Area teams driving our operational sales, and the Services team taking care of our after-sales operations. Our team members are in various regions worldwide, with the management team based in Finland (Lappeenranta & Espoo).
What you'll do
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing the Mining Filtration Product Group portfolio strategy, aligning R&D and product lifecycle plans, and formulating pricing strategies for products and solutions.
- You will lead a motivated product management organization, implement best practices, ensure product safety and quality, and leverage market intelligence for effective go-to-market strategies.
- Additionally, you will lead a team of business development experts with extensive knowledge to support market area operations and drive the growth of the Mining filtration business.
- Furthermore, you will oversee market analysis, identify new business opportunities, and implement strategies to enhance market penetration and customer engagement. Your role will include setting performance targets, monitoring progress, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

- Financial Analysis: Proficiency in understanding financial data, pricing models, and cost structures to support data-driven decision-making.
- Filtration Expertise: Knowledge of filtration is expected, and a deep understanding of mining filtration applications and processes is required.
