As a Summer Trainee – Hydrometallurgy BL Project Procurement, in Espoo, you will:​ 

• Assist Project Procurement Managers in procurement activities in plant or equipment projects, finally working as their substitute during the holiday season:
• Plan procurement activities in projects, in close co-operation with Project Management, Engineering and Project Logistics.
• Send RFQs, analyze received offers, and issue POs accordingly
• Manage procurement-related project documentation
• Monitor and report progress of procurement in projects
• Develop your competencies and after the summer, having skills to manage basic procurement activities independently.

Who you are

• Studying in an Engineering (Bachelor´s or Master’s degree) program
• A person having an organized mindset and a proactive approach to work
• Eagerness to learn more, develop, and succeed in the role
• Good skills in MS Office tools
• Preferably some experience in purchasing and using SAP
• Fluent in English

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2130-2970 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
