As a Summer Trainee, Tactical Sourcing Specialist, you are responsible for providing pricing to the Sales Team based on quotations and pricing received.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Supporting sourcing activities in close cooperation with Strategic Sourcing
• Ensuring sourcing strategy execution through pre- defined supply base
• Driving systematic use of sourcing processes, tools & systems, and policies
• Aligning the use of sourcing tools & systems with key stakeholders
• Translating stakeholders' business requirements into timely and cost-effective sourcing actions

 
You will report directly to the Tactical Sourcing Manager, APAC & EMEA. You will work in close cooperation with our global team of Tactical Sourcing Specialists, our internal stakeholders, and external suppliers.

Who you are

• A higher degree study background in, for example, purchasing, sourcing, and data management
• A positive and spontaneous can-do mindset and a proactive approach to work
• Eagerness to learn more, develop, and succeed.
• An ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks
• Good skills in MS Office tools, especially in Excel, Power BI, as a plus
• Ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and projects and drive them proactively
• Good communication skills in English and Finnish

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2130-2970 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
