Introduction

 

As a Summer Trainee, Software Development, Minerals Digitalization, you will:

  

  • Design and develop new features for process modeling software or enhance existing ones using the .NET framework and C#.
  • Implement UI/UX components for the process modeling software
  • Create and optimise physical, chemical or metallurgical calculation routines by developing code to perform these calculations
  • Test new functionalities and update the documentation
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse, multicultural team

 

Who you are

 

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Development or a related field
  • Possess a positive, proactive mindset with a strong willingness to take initiative.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow and succeed
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team with varied backgrounds.
  • Good communication skills in English

Many of our summer trainees continue their employment with us part-time, full-time, or with their thesis after the summer.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2130-2970 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.

 

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
