Introduction

As a Summer Trainee – QEHS, you will:

Update and create management system documents, procedures and instructions regarding quality, environment and sustainability, and/or health & safety management in Metso document management system.

Assist in management system document migration and merge project

Assist in creating reports, plans, materials etc. Regarding QEHS topics

Other development tasks and small projects on quality, environment, health and safety management depending on the skills, experience, study background and interests of the selected candidate.

Who you are

A higher degree study background in for Engineering such as (not limited to) Environment, Mechanical, Process, Chemical or Materials engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management.

A positive and spontaneous can-do mindset and a proactive approach to work

Eagerness to learn more, develop, and solve problems.

Good skills in MS Office tools, especially in Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint. Skills in Power BI are considered as an advantage.

Ability to work fully in English, skills in other languages are considered an advantage (e.g. Finnish, Swedish, German, Chinese).

Candidates with studies or previous work experience related to quality, environment, health and safety management will be prioritized.

You will have great opportunities to develop your expertise by learning how our QEHS team support Business Lines within Metso Minerals BA, while ensuring Corporate requirements on QEHS are fulfilled in our business area. Our team works around the globe, with specialists in several time zones and different countries in Metso offices and projects. Many of our summer trainees continue their employment with us part-time, full-time, or with their thesis after the summer.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2130-2970 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
