Join our professional Project Procurement team and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, international environment. As a Summer Trainee, Project Procurement, you’ll support procurement activities and learn best practices in ordering and invoice handling.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in procurement processes and documentation
• Learn and apply SAP and Basware tools
• Contribute your skills and ideas to the team
• Gain insight into project-based procurement operations

Who You Are

• A student in Industrial Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management
• Proactive, positive, and eager to learn
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Fluent in Finnish and English
• SAP/Basware knowledge is a plus

What’s in It for You

An exciting position in the Project Procurement team of Metso’s Minerals business area. You’ll work alongside eight experienced procurement professionals who lead procurement in equipment and plant solution projects. We operate in a hybrid model, combining flexibility with strong team collaboration. You’ll be supported by your team and a dedicated buddy throughout the summer.

You’ll have great opportunities to develop your expertise by learning how to manage complex project procurement processes in a global industrial environment. Many of our summer trainees continue with us after the summer—either part-time, full-time, or through thesis work.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2130-2970 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
